Lesson 26 of 69 · A2, Unit 1: Daily life
Clothing and appearance
tragen (to wear, to carry) is the verb for clothes, glasses, and even beards. It's a stem-changing verb: ich trage, du trägst, er trägt.
To describe someone, use haben for features (Sie hat lange Haare) and sein for overall impressions (Er ist groß und schlank).
By the end you can:
- name common clothes with their articles
- say what you or someone else is wearing
- describe someone's appearance
